Within the next two weeks, we will experience a triple-header as these three events take place: The Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day. Personally, the Kentucky Derby is always a favorite. We were lucky enough to attend twice and it does not disappoint. Vatican Conclave!
The Vatican has announced that the Conclave to elect the next Pope begins May 7th. Of course, right on cue, the views of the movie by the same name (Conclave) are through the roof.
May 11th is Mother’s Day in the US!
Mothers Day falls on different days in different countries depending on history and their set traditions for celebrating mothers. In any case it is celebrated around the world as a way to honor the women who gave us life. in the United States, it will be celebrate on May 11th this year.
