Great companies and innovation all start with having ideas and the ability to create a vision from your ideas. In all honesty, great ideas are not rare. Many people have lots of amazing thoughts on creating new products, starting their own company or ways to increase business at their present company.

The challenge is figuring out a plan on how to get from point A to Point B or idea to accomplishment. In a research article written by John Kaag titles, the neurological dynamics of the imagination, it confirms by having strong vision of what our outcome will look like, we can create the same neuro pathways in our brain as if we have achieved it. After seeing the vision that you create it now requires inner drive and commitment to see the vision through to fruition.

Many athletes are incredibly blessed with natural ability and when you combine that with the desire and commitment to excel, we all benefit from watching them compete!

As with athletes, it takes much more than natural talent or in this case, great ideas for your vision to become a reality. What does it take to be on the side of success? It all starts with having a system in place to get the ball rolling.

  • Have a clear picture of what it will look like and feel like when you achieve success.
  • Have detailed plan in place from start to finish.
  • Be willing to adjust the plan as you are going through the process.
  • Be committed and driven to work through obstacles that will inevitably arise.
  • Develop your mental endurance by creating habits that will keep you focused and on track.
  • Surround yourself with people that are supportive of your efforts.

It is so important to have a support group of family and friends that are positive and motivating along with a strong network of respected friends and colleagues that will give you honest feedback and insight from different perspectives. The ability to have your brain work for you and being committed to the process will ultimately put you in the position for success.
